O Futuro cabe em uma gota The Future Fits in a Drop
A água parece simples.
A gente abre a torneira e ela está lá, como se fosse infinita.
Mas não é.
Nos rios e lagos existe uma vida inteira acontecendo.
Peixes, plantas e até seres tão pequenos que a gente nem consegue ver.
Tudo isso depende da água para existir.
E a gente também.
A água doce é a que mata nossa sede, que faz a comida, que limpa, que mantém a gente vivo todos os dias.
Sem ela não tem futuro.
Só que, mesmo sendo tão importante, muitas vezes ela não é cuidada.
É desperdiçada, poluída, esquecida.
E eu fico pensando...
Se hoje a gente não cuidar, será que amanhã ainda vai existir?
Será que no futuro alguém vai olhar para um rio e ver vida, ou só lembrar de como ele já foi?
A verdade é que o futuro não está longe.
Ele começa agora.
Em cada atitude, em cada escolha, em cada gota que a gente decide preservar.
Porque a água não é só um recurso.
Ela é o que mantém tudo vivo.
E talvez, no fim,
cuidar da água
seja a mesma coisa que cuidar do nosso próprio futuro.
Water seems simple.
We turn on the tap and it's there, as if it were infinite.
But it's not.
In rivers and lakes, there's a whole life happening.
Fish, plants, and even beings so small we can't even see them.
All of this depends on water to exist.
And so do we.
Freshwater is what quenches our thirst, makes our food, cleans us, and keeps us alive every day.
Without it, there is no future.
But even though it's so important, it's often neglected.
It's wasted, polluted, forgotten.
And I keep thinking...
If we don't take care of it today, will it still exist tomorrow?
Will someone in the future look at a river and see life, or only remember how it once was?
The truth is, the future isn't far away.
It starts now.
In every action, in every choice, in every drop we decide to preserve.
Because water is not just a resource.
It's what keeps everything alive.
And perhaps, in the end,
taking care of water
is the same as taking care of our own future.
